before time moves on
Can I choose any movie or show?
Of course! I want these photos to feel nostalgic to YOU. So whichever movie or show is that comfort & nostalgia that is, I will do my best to study it before our session and bring the feel of it into your images
Will I have to choose the location or will you find it?
I'm open to suggestions for locations always, if there is somewhere that really reminds you of your chosen movie or show then I'm happy to go with it. If not, I am dedicated to finding a location for you that gives similar feelings to the scenes we are using as inspiration.
When does our session take place?
I am happy to schedule your session for any time that works best for both of us. My books are open 1 month from our first contact to do location scouting, studying the scenes and coming up with outfits, and up to 6 months, so we can choose a date within that timeframe to book your session.
How long until we get to see the photos?
I always give a sneak peek within the first 3 days after your session and then my turn around time is 3-4 weeks
We feel a bit awkward in front of the camera. Is this still for us?
Yes. Especially then. These sessions are designed for couples who want something relaxed and unforced. If you can walk, talk, and be close, you are doing it right.
What makes this different from a regular couples shoot?
This experience is slower and more intentional. There is planning before we meet, space during the session, and a film inspired approach in the final images. It is about creating something that feels lived in, not styled.
What if the weather does not behave?
Part of the really fun style of these photos is the amount of beautiful cinematic moments are in the rain. If you're up for a little extra adventure, I'm down! If not, then we can work around it and reschedule if needed!
